Soon, ICICI Bank to get face on Facebook

BANGALORE, INDIA: One of the leading private bankers, ICICI Bank has today said that it will leverage Facebook. With growing popularity about social networks among youth, the bank said that it'll create services around it.

Rajiv Sabharwal, executive director of ICICI Bank said "The ICICI Bank page on Facebook will include a one-of-its kind 'Your Bank Account' application through which consumers can access their bank account information".

With an objective to provide services in real-time, the bank will soon be a part of social media bandwagon. The bank aims to continue to provide superior banking services in 2012, in line with its 'Khayaal  Aapka' (Your Care) philosophy, the bank said in its communication.

The bank, however, didn't reveal the exact nature of services but it would allow its customers to access their accounts and address their banking needs. It may also develop purpose-built application for the

integration with Facebook.
