As per Sony’s claims, this new camera setup captures images with three times the precision. Interestingly, the triple image sensing technology comprises of three technologies — image sensor, laser autofocus sensor, and RGBC-IR sensor. The image sensor includes Exmor RS, which provides a powerful blend of high-quality image and autofocus (AF) speed combined with Predictive Hybrid AF. The latter helps the system intelligently predict and track subjects in motion for blur-free results.

Added to this is the Laser AF sensor with distance sensing technology, which enables you to capture beautiful blur-free photos in challenging low light conditions. The RGBC-IR sensor with color sensing technology accurately adjusts the white balance based on the light source in the environment.

The device also features a fingerprint scanner on the home button. The device is also water resistant, with ratings of IP65/68. The smartphone also supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Running on Android Marshmallow OS, the phone is powered by a 2900mAh battery. The company has promised that latest Android version — Android Nougat will also be rolled out soon.
