Sony Ericsson launches P1i in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication India Pvt Ltd has launched eight new high-technology handsets in India, consolidating its presence in the music, imaging and Smartphone categories.

The company also announced the launch of new emotive series targeted at women.

The new launches include the next generation Smartphone - P1i with 3 way-input and Business Card Scanner; 3 new additions to the WALKMANR series - W580i, W910i and W960i. The Cyber-shot series has been expanded with the launch of the K810i and K850i with 5MP and Photo-Fix features. The Emotive series includes two new models - T650i and S500i with features inspired by nature like illumination effects and themes that can be customized as the seasons change or the day turns into night.
