Sony Ericsson intros new Xperia phones

BANGALORE, INDIA: Sony Ericsson on Tuesday announced its 'FingerTalk' campaign,  by introducing two versions of
of its popular Xperia smart phone -  Xperia neo V and Xperia pro. The new phones come with in-built tabs of popular social networking sites that provide an easy way to communicate.

Sony Ericsson has tied-up with Bharti Airtel, to offer customers with 500 MB/month of free 3G/2G data usage for the first three months since the time of purchase of any of these Xperia phones. In addition to this, Airtel mobile customers buying these new Xperia devices will also be able to enjoy free Mobile TV experience for 200 minutes or 2 months, whichever earlier.

Xperia neo V

Xperia neo V includes features like Google Talk with Video Chat, 3D sweep panorama and enhanced Facebook inside Xperia functionality. Building on the success of the original Xperia neo launched earlier this year, Xperia neo V takes the latest Android software for smart phones.

The smart phone also comes with includes Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine for better entertainment experience along with a 1 GHz processor.

Xperia pro

This new slider phone has keyboard with a set of smart functions. One can also synchronise his/her email and calendar on the fly.

The smart phone comes loaded with apps like Google Maps and Google Latitude. One can edit documents using the Office Suite Pro and work on the go with your business phone. Another key feature of this smart phone is Sony's Exmor R for mobile image sensor which helps shoot quality pictures even in low light.

Managing director of Sony Ericsson India,P. Balaji said that Sony Ericsson will bring a powerful 3G experience with Airtel through this integrated offer, Airtel is empowering the new devices to deliver hi-speed communication entertainment options to users, on-the-go.

The price of Xperia neo V would be around Rs 18 thousand while Xperia pro would cost around Rs 22 thousand.
