Based on the Test Maturity Model (TMM), Sonnet QCheck enables organizations to mitigate testing challenges, improve testing efficiencies and reduce overall cost of operations.

Sonnet QCheck is a fixed price and fixed scope consulting offering that usually precedes an extensive Managed Testing Services engagement for the customer.

It is built upon Sonata’s A3 (Assess - Advise - Act) methodology that delivers to the client a roadmap and approach to deploy Sonata’s managed testing services. At the end of Sonnet QCheck, the customer gets a clear visibility into the test process, resources, tools utilization and optimization, and cost and time implications, said a press release.

Speaking on the occasion, head, Managed Testing and Web Technologies, C V Narayanan commented, “Enterprises that run a high number of software applications internally, across functions and geographies, will significantly benefit from this service. This service provides efficiencies in terms of reduced test cycles and efforts which lead to optimization of the overall cost of quality.”

B Ramaswamy, president and managing director, Sonata Software, said, “More companies across geographies are opting for Managed Testing relationships, where the services provider takes on complete ownership of the overall performance of an application and runs all testing functions centrally, driven by Service Level Agreements.”

He added that Sonnet QCheck offers enterprises a ‘de-risked’ step-by-step approach to a managed testing relationship, by identifying any risks upfront and using a PoC to validate the proposed guideline, before committing to the model.
