The company was referring to Thursday’s ruling by the apex court which upheld the prosecution case against Nasscom Chief Som Mittal in a case relating to the murder of Pratibha Srikant Murthy who was an employee of HP.

The statement said that the SC has “only directed Mittal to urge all the contentions as available under law, including maintainability of the complaint, before the trial court”.

“However, since the matter is sub judice, HP would not like to comment on any specifics related to the case at this point," the statement added.
