COLORADO, USA: Pragmatic Software Company announced that its flagship product, Software Planner won the 2008 Testers Choice Award in the category of Commercial Test/Performance Solution priced under $500/Seat.
The award comprises categories encompassing the range of tools designed to improve software quality. The arbiters of excellence are Software Test & Performance subscribers, who vote on products in specific categories. The Testers Choice awards consists of a winner and two finalists from each category as well as the year's Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize winner is a product that had the highest score within a single category; votes are not added across categories.
The winners were announced at the Test & Performance Conference, September 24-26, 2008, in Boston, Mass. The awards are published in the Software Test & Performance magazine in the November 2008 issue.

- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Version - Hosted by Pragmatic Software, the SaaS edition manages all phases of the application lifecycle including requirements, test cases, defects, support ticket management, project and task management, automated test integration, document sharing, discussion forums and calendar management. This edition starts at $30 per month (per concurrent user) and modules can be purchased ala-cart.
- Enterprise Version - Hosted by the client, the Enterprise edition contains all features of the SaaS edition. It also has full integration with Crystal Reports, a fully documented API, synchronization with other software in your organization and document versioning. This version starts at $ 1,000 per concurrent user (one-time fee) and modules can be purchased ala-cart.
