Software finishing school launched in Bangalore

BANGALORE: The first TechnoCampus, the Software Finishing School for Southern India, located at Bangalore was launched in the city on Tuesday. Set up by APSON.COM in partnership with Globsyn Technologies Ltd., this Software Finishing School will cater to the needs of the software industry of the region, said a release here.

The Bangalore TechnoCampus, the sixth TechnoCampus in India, will provide high-end training in software development and project management, to bridge the gap between the generic and concept oriented university education and the market demand for application ready software professionals.The Bangalore TechnoCampus, covering 4500 sq. ft of integrated training facilities has the capacity to train 180 full time and 250 part-time software professional per annum, the release added.

“Bangalore is the hub of software industry in the country. There is an urgent need to supplement the software talent pool, especially at the project management level, to feed the growth”, said APSON.COM Chairman Dr A.Parthasarthy. “Therefore when Globsyn announced its intention to expand the TechnoCampus network in India, through partnerships, we found that it fit well in our corporate plans”, he added.
