Social media was flooded with posts and videos when mass shooting took place in an LGBT Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. People inside and around the nightclub began to post their experiences moments after Omar S. Mateen opened fire, killing more than 50 people.
Pulse nightclub posted on Facebook right after the shooting began at 2 a.m. saying, “everyone get out of pulse and keep running,” which was shared more than 12, 385 times with 33 thousand likes.
Among the numerous people sharing their support for the victims of the shooting on social media platform, few people who were trapped inside the nightclub were keeping outsiders updated with live tweets about the horrific incident.

Apart from social posts and tweets, social media also witnessed overflow of support from across the world, through a GoFundMe page. The page was created to help raise funds for the victims of the Pulse shooting, raising $1,283,476 till now.
