Snapchat brings new features to its app including gif stickers via Giphy

Snapchat has introduced a couple of new features to make the app more appealing to its users. The company has introduced support for GIF stickers via Giphy to your posts. The new feature is similar to the one Instagram introduced last month.

To use the feature, select the sticker icon from the Snap editing screen. Then tap search to bring up a list of stickers from Giphy. They function just like stationary stickers, down to the ability to stick them to moving objects in videos.

Additionally, Snapchat has also rolled out tabs to both the Friends and the Discover screens within the app, which will make it easier for users on the platform to follow along with the Stories they want to see whenever they want to see them, letting you do things like viewing friends with active stories and Group Chats in one tab and subscriptions you maintain in the other.

The move comes after Snapchat faced a lot of criticism for its redesign of the app. About one million users signed a petition to revert the app to its old design.

Giphy stickers are available now on Snapchat, while tabs will be rolling out to iOS and Android in the next few weeks.
