NEW DELHI, INDIA: Team Anna, accompanying the Gandhian at his one-day token fast at Jantar Matar, on Sunday hit out at Union Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal.

One of the key members, Arvind Kejriwal alleged that Sibal put a cap on SMSes due to Anna’s soaring popularity.

“Alarmed with SMSes floating on to support anti-corruption campaign, Sibal put a ban on sending SMSes beyond 200. He’s also trying to regulate Facebook,” Kejriwal said.

Another Team Anna member, Manish Sisodia slammed Sibal of clampdown on ‘cartoons’ on the Facebook.

Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare and his team use social media, especially Facebook as well as SMS texting to appeal to the masses to join their campaign.
