The first problem statement is to make a mobility solution that will help women to know the safe/unsafe zones across different locations in any Indian city. According to the challenge, the solution should also enable women to update it based on experiences as well.

It should:

  • Crowdsource information on safe and unsafe areas in a particular city
  • Leverage publicly available data to augment crowdsourced information
  • Also, highlight unsafe zones to public authorities and assist with intervention
  • Ensure user authentication and verification to prevent frivolous elements from hijacking it
  • Further, the solution should be scalable, easy to use, and must be compatible across different devices (phone/tablet/PC)
  • Individual data privacy should not be compromised
