Its latest release, available immediately, now includes LEED v4 within BD+C, ID+C, EB+OM rating systems and their associated credits as well as search and product documentation improvements.

"We strongly support the USGBC's LEED rating system for a more sustainable future" remarked Richard Semmes, SmartBIM's president. "By making LEED v4 rating system analysis and documentation available through ecoScorecard, we are keeping our promise to make green building easier."

ecoScorecard is free to users and is supported by leading manufacturers interested in making the specification of green products easier for customers and salespeople. ecoScorecard works from a web browser or as a plugin to Revit or Sketchup. Users can also access the SmartBIM Library (library.smartbim.com) for eco-enabled Revit objects that can be searched and filtered by environmental features as well as dropped into the authoring environment for one-click evaluation against LEED v4 rating systems.

ecoScorecard provides building professionals the ability to search and evaluate products based on environmental characteristics for the rating systems such as LEED, GGHC, NAHB, and CHPS, as well as other third-party product certifications. The tool produces the product documentation necessary for inclusion in the certification submission process.
