BANGALORE, INDIA: Expectations drives to grow further, they are a important aspect for entrepreneurs. For a few years now, entrepreneurs from the small businesses have been waiting for the long-discussed economic recovery.

Hopefully, this year will belong to the same much awaited recovery. While these entrepreneurs certainly look forward to the upwardly going business graph, stronger top-line revenues and improved profitability could also spur them to finally consider selling their businesses. Whatever said or done, the fact remains that many proprietors still see their business’s current value as too low to plan a financially successful exit.

Will 2012 be the year to do it?...

The straight answer to this question is–may be yes. Recently published, ”BizBuySell’s quarterly insights data indicated year-over-year increases in the number of closed transactions reported (although these are still down 30 to 40 percent compared to the boom  in late 2007 and early 2008).


On the other front, banking organizations continue to slowly improve lending options, and both sellers and buyers are more aware of financing solutions to help close a deal. So with some optimism ahead, what should potential sellers be doing to prepare?

Whatever could be the projections are, and how so ever favourable business conditions could become. An agile entrepreneur must have to look at few strategic activities very seriously.
