BANGALORE, INDIA:Nokia's smartphone users will now be able to make free Skype-to-Skype calls on their mobiles after the launch of a download that makes the service much more widely accessible.
Already available on the iPhone and Blackberry, a new version of Skype for the Symbian operating system aims to make the service available to millions more mobile users.

The Symbian client will be free to download from Nokia's Ovi store and it is expected that a version for other manufacturers, including Sony-Ericsson phones will be available soon.
The Skype for Symbian download means that Nokia users worldwide can now use Skype on the move either over wi-fi or a mobile data connection such as 3G.
