Skillsoft launches course-ware in BFSI space

MUMBAI, INDIA: Skillsoft, providers of cloud based learning solutions for its customers worldwide, announced the launch of its new global banking and financial services course-ware in India. The collection consists of 50 elearning courses of an hour each, and will help companies train their employees in understanding complex products and services, as well as regulatory and risk management requirements in banking and financial service organizations globally. In India, the courseware is targeted at banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), IT and ITeS companies.

The courseware helps learners understand several critical areas of operations of companies in the worldwide banking and financial services sector.

It also provides an overview of key products such as loans and mortgages, life, health and general insurance products, mutual funds and portfolio management, helps build an understanding of the main risks that affect operations, effective risk management, supervision and control, as well as key Basel I, II and III regulations that govern the sector globally.
