SITA gets new team

CHENNAI, INDIA: Salem IT Association (SITA) has selected its new team members for the next two years. Elango, CEO, The United Computers has been elected as the new President of the association.

The other office bearers of the association are Nagendiran, CEO, Insight Systems—VP; Sivakumar, CEO, Business Infotech—Secretary; Manikandan, Magnum Enterprises— Treasurer and Jagan, CEO, ACE Computers—Joint Secretary.

SITA conducts its elections twice a year and has been active working since its inception. It has been strictly following the ethical standards of trade, where recently they expelled couple of partners from the association for defaulting payments to Delhi-based national distributor Iris Computers and set new standards for other associations in the state.

Speaking on the new initiatives from the association, Elango said that he wants to continue with all the good work done by the previous teams of the association. The new team is yet to set-up any agenda for the coming years.

Meanwhile, Confed-ITA is urging all the associations under its belt to conduct elections and install new teams during the beginning of the financial year to be devoid of accounting difficulties during the end of each term.
