SiS671DX-based ASUS F5V Notebooks

The ASUS F5V with 15.4" widescreen LCD monitor delivers high-end video and audio enjoyment. Featuring Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology and the SiS671DX chipset, ASUS F5V enables you to experience the unforgettable mobility. It supports Intel® CoreTM Duo and Intel® Celeron M processors, DDR2-667 DRAM up to 2GB. It equips one DVI and one VGA ports to deliver smooth visual effects.

The SiS968 Southbridge is paired with the SiS671DX chipset to optimize the functionality of ASUS F5V notebook. By providing Serial ATA high-speed slots, the SiS968 chipset increases the transmission speed of hard disk and DVD-ROM; by supporting 4 USB 2.0 ports, the SiS968 chipset allows the system for further connections. With the built-in 10/100Mbps Ethernet, the 802.11b/g based Mini-Card PCIe, and Bluetooth module, ASUS F5V notebook truly becomes a product with ultimate mobility.
