Features: Tata Teleservices has announced the availability of an ultra slim CDMA Motofone F3c based on the Qualcomm single chip (QSC) chip 6010 family.

Motofone F3c is the first phone in India based on the single chip technology. Speaking to the media, Darryl Green, CEO, Tata Teleservices, said that the company is hoping to target at least three million subscribers with this phone in the next six months. He said that the company would launch a lot more phones in the next few months.

The Motofone F3c features polyphonic ring tones, local voice prompts in six Indian languages and a sturdy phone that does not break when it falls.

Green is confident of adding more subscribers in the next few months. “We are the fastest growing service provider in India and have crossed one million customers in Karnataka and two million in Delhi. We expect to double our growth this year.”

The company now enjoys around 30 per cent share of the Indian CDMA market and expects to increase its momentum this year. The company has a customer base of over 15.5 million.
