FOLSOM, CALIFORNIA: Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announced that the I-Lab Engineering Private Limited (I-Lab) in Singapore has selected Prolog software to standardize construction management processes. I-Lab is working directly with ProjectAIMS, a Meridian Systems Value Added Reseller (VAR) in Hong Kong, China.

Lab chose Prolog software in order to standardize on a single construction project management system of record for a 650,000 square foot scientific research center, one of its more complex projects.

“Our goal was to establish a central location for all of our project data to increase collaboration and streamline our reporting capabilities for vital information such as meeting minutes, RFIs and drawings,” said Keith Toh, the Director of I-Lab. “Prolog will enable our teams to effectively manage the vast amounts of information and keep the project on track for delivery later this year.”

I-Lab selected Meridian Systems VAR, ProjectAIMS, to implement Prolog software because of the value-added services they offer to clients and other project stakeholders, including consulting, installation, configuration and training services. ProjectAIMS also provided I-Lab with extensive consultation regarding optimizing IT infrastructure, and on creating an aggressive, yet attainable, deployment strategy and off-site technical support.

“More project owners are adopting technology to better manage and support the detailed reporting and the team collaboration requirements needed for these complex projects,” said TS Wong, the CEO of ProjectAIMS. “In light of the complexity of the project and the accelerated construction schedule, I-Lab specifically needed the efficiency gains Prolog software can deliver by integrating and streamlining their construction project management processes.”
