Siemens, Talisma tie-up to offer contact center soln

BANGALORE: Siemens and Talisma announced today that they would work together to offer contact center solutions in the Indian market.



This alliance is expected to address the entire spectrum of solutions for the contact center market, with the offerings from simple entry level, plug and play packages to the most sophisticated multimedia contact centers with fully integrated Computer Telephony Integration (CRI) and customer management solutions.






Addressing the meeting, Siemens' Executive vice president, Peter Gartenberg, said, "The alliance will offer comprehensive end-end solution for contact centers in India that combines our leadership in real time communications with Talisma's customer management software expertise."





Speaking on the occasion, Talisma Corporation, President and CEO, Dan Vetras said, " The Talisma multi-touch assess point solutions combined with Siemens' global contact center expertise will enable out customers to maximize the value of their customer relationships with an optimal cost structure."




The strategic alliance between Siemens and Talisma will include the development of an 'out of box;' contact center solution, joint sales and marketing programs with road shows in major cities and a 'proof of concept' at the 'Siemens Integration Lab' in Mumbai.






It is also expected that the alliance will be extended to other markets around the globe. The strategic plans are expected to capture 20 percent of the $68 billion global market.
