MUMBAI: With the launch of HiPath Pro center, a complete call center suite,
Siemens has become the first company in India to address the entire spectrum of
solutions for the call center market.
Addressing a press conference, Peter Gartenberg, executive vice president,
ICN-EN, Siemens said that the suite offers from simple entry level, plug and
play packages to multimedia contact centers with fully integrated Computer
Telephony Integration (CTI) and customer relationship management solutions.
The suite consists of three levels - entry level, standard and advanced
levels that allow customers to select call center functions tailored to their
specific needs. the suite can be upgraded from a single call routing
functionality to a fully integrated multimedia contact center.
Siemens is also the first to launch plug and play packaged call center
solutions in the category of 8/16/24 agents. A key feature of the product is its
open interface built as per standards, allowing application development in the
contact center CTI/CRM environment.
The product costs from minimum Rs 40 lakh - Rs 70 lakh. Gartenberg hopes that
the product would do well in India and anticipates capturing a substantial share
in the emerging $10 million call center market in India.
Siemens has tied up with Mumbai based Avhans Technologies wherein Avhans
would provide their expertise in CTI and CRM solutions to further support
Siemens offering in the plug and play package solutions.
