Shufflr intros new features for Twitter, Facebook

BANGALORE, INDIA: Althea Systems, the makers of Shufflr, the social video browser today announced the launch of a Shufflr bookmarklet which allow users to queue and watch videos at their convenience from YouTube, MetaCafe, Vimeo, Daily Motion, on social networking sites and blogs.

This feature can also be used by video curators to collect and share videos of interest on both popular and niche topics. The Twitter integration will enable users to see videos tweeted by people they follow on Twitter while the Facebook integration will allow users to watch videos shared by their friends on Facebook said a press release.

“There are times when we stumble upon an interesting video but just don’t have the time to watch it.  With the Shufflr bookmarklet, a video you stumbled upon at work can be queued and watched later when it is convenient” said Vinod Gopinath, CEO and Founder, Althea Systems.

He added “With the launch of our Twitter and Facebook features, we make sure that you don’t miss out on the fun videos your friends share by aggregating them all in one place - your Shufflr friend feed”.

With the new Twitter feature users can also see videos shared on lists they follow including their own. Similarly users can also see videos shared from fan pages they ‘like’ on Facebook.
