Shree Digvijay Cement bags PCQ award

HYDERABAD: Shree Digvijay Cement Company Ltd. (SDCCL), has been named by PC Quest as Best IT Implementation of the Year 2009 for its recently completed separation of master and transaction data code from the previous owners using SAP Landscape Optimization Services (SAP SLO).

It was done by Intelligroup, Inc., an information technology and outsourcing services provider principally focused on enterprise resource planning (ERP) and extended ERP solutions, and was retained by SDCCL to perform this complex engagement.

“Intelligroup was committed to understanding our unique set of requirements and to the deployment of a complex solution within our aggressive timeline,” said GD Gupta, Assistant Vice President at Shree Digvijay Cement. “They understood the necessity to ensure uninterrupted connectivity to SAP throughout the project and were able to complete final delivery of the project before the actual deadline.”

PC Quest received over 230 nominations for 20 different categories of IT projects from small, medium, and large businesses.  The nominations were audited, and the winner selection in each category was made by a juried panel comprised of leading IT industry, government, and media executives.
