'Shah Rukh Khan can enter US, not Wankhede'

BANGALORE, INDIA: "Shah Rukh Khan can now enter United States of America, but not Wankhede Stadium," read a tweet. That could be a reality as Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is planning to ban Shah Rukh Khan, owner of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, from entering the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai after his brawl with security guards.

The MCA has alleged that the Bollywood actor, who was drunk, misbehaved with security personnel and MCA president Vilasrao Deshmukh after a match against the Mumbai Indians at the stadium. He was agitated when the security personnel stopped him from entering the ground after the match.

The ban means he will not be allowed to watch any match - ODI, Test or T20. If banned, he could be the first actor to face such a severe action.

Shah Rukh Khan is not new to controversies. He was summoned by Jaipur court after he lit a cigarette at an IPL match on April 8 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. That was in violation of the norm against smoking in public. The case is due for hearing on May 26.
