Serial entrepreneur Anoop Ambika is new CEO of Kerala Startup Mission

Shri Anoop Ambika has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) by the State Government.

Shri Anoop Ambika, who has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) by the State Government, brings with him over 26 years of industry experience with proficiency in international sales & marketing, policy making, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, Life Sciences, ideation, and entrepreneurship.

The Government issued the notification appointing Anoop in the position for a period of three years.

Prior to this appointment, Shri Anoop was the CEO of the biotech firm Genpro Research. He had worked in the same capacity for more than 12 years in the clinical data management company Kreara Solutions.

Hailing from the Kerala capital, Shri Anoop is a graduate in B.Tech and has his post-graduation in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Kerala.

Starting out as a Design Engineer in Bengaluru-based General Electric, Shri Anoop later joined Lucent Technologies in Boston, US. Then he had short stints in US firms Nortel Networks as Project Leader and Telica Inc as Project Manager.

A serial entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, Shri Anoop has co-founded several technology startups. He also represents Kerala Knowledge-Economy Mission (KKEM) on Kerala State Planning Board.

An art enthusiast and cultural organizer, Shri Anoop had served as the Patron of Natana, the arts and cultural forum of IT companies in Kerala.

KSUM is the state government’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities.
