MUMBAI, INDIA: Serco, a international service company has announced that it has been featured in the Global Services (GS) 100 list that recognises corporations for their leadership as an outsourcing player worldwide.
This is the third year Serco has been featured in the Global Services 100 list. The list reflects the diversity and overall landscape of the service provider community in terms of company sizes, countries of origin and countries of delivery, a company release said.
An initiative by Global Services Media, Global Services 100, now in its eighth year, presents a complete view of the dynamics of the most significant segments that make up the IT and business process outsourcing industry. The 2013 GS100 list represents companies that serve mature global clients through advanced global delivery models, have broad portfolio of service offerings or niche leadership, and have demonstrated business excellence. The study involves an extensive survey seeking both quantitative and qualitative information from service providers who voluntarily opt to participate.
Based on the four key criteria of performance and leadership, quality and maturity of customers, breadth of services offered, and spread of global delivery capabilities, the GS100 analytical model is a credible guide for buyers of business and technology services that assists them to identify the relevant vendor.
