Select Technologies to offer Nokia’s security solutions

BANGALORE: Select Technologies has announced its distribution alliance with

Nokia to provide the market leading enterprise security solutions for

corporations across the country. An end user road show was organized in Mumbai,

Delhi and Bangalore to announce this appointment and also to showcase Nokia’s

product range.

According to the alliance Select Technologies will market and promote Nokia’s

IP Network Security and Virtual Private Network (VPN) appliances through a

network of System Integrators and Value-added Partners across the country. Nokia

claims to be leading vendors in the areas of incident response, content control,

application security, application access control, identification and

authentication, intrusion detection and management and network access control

Nokia will provide strategic sales, marketing and technical support including

its unique First Call-Final Resolution customer support, which provides a single

point of global technical support for not only Nokia appliances but also the

third-party software that is licensed to run on them.

Commenting on the appointment, Tim Lee, Vice President Asia Pacific, Nokia
