MUMBAI: SecureSynergy Pvt Ltd, an Information Assurance company, is planning to expand its business in India by opening up of new offices in upcountry markets such as Cochin, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Trivandrum by June this year.

The company already has offices in Bangalore, Madras, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta and Ahmedabad. With the opening of new offices it will have presence all across the country.

The company is planning to increase its channel partners to 90 from the existing 50 by the end of this year by appointing new channel partners.

Anil Menon, Senior Vice President Operations said, " Since we have seen significant growth last year in our business. We have plans to expand our business this year with utmost focus on sales."

The company is also planning to rope in around one-lakh users for its online security program. Also around 50 corporates are expected to join its online security program this year.

The company has also announced a security training initiative in the country by opening of Centre for Information Security and Assurance Technologies (CISAT) an advanced lab for Information Security. The centre is aimed at addressing the security awareness needs of the Indian, the Middle East and ASEAN markets. The training initiatives are backed by a Rs five crore investment made into setting up the centre lab, Proof of Concept Centre, training curriculum and advanced technologies team.

The security training initiative is targeted at policy makers, security technology implementers, architects and end users with the objective of raising the over all awareness of Information Security practices.

The company will drive the training initiative through a network of Accredited Training Partners and reseller channel thereby bringing a service orientation to the traditional security product focus in the channel. "Our centre is an excellent way for customers and channels to leverage our internal knowledge, and our channels approach to services is a unique way to spread this across the country keeping costs at a minimum,"adds Anil Menon.
