SecureSafe's new file transfer feature enables the secure transmission of documents for its customers worldwide and to avoid spying. The feature ensures the secure transfer of files directly from a customers data safe without the data having to leave the unprotected environment of SecureSafe before it is downloaded.

Tobias Christen, CEO, SecureSafe, said: "Before transferring the file, an encrypted copy of the document is created and stored in a temporary safe that is automatically created for the recipient. Just like every SecureSafe, the temporary safe also has a highly secure encryption.

"The recipient receives a download link via email which they can then use to download the file securely. Premium account holders can also add further protection with a security code which is automatically sent to the recipient via SMS."

Private customers can also use the function which is integrated into each SecureSafe account.
