IRVINE, USA: SecureAuth is a provider of identity enforcement technology for the enterprise, and it has announced a strategic partnership with Unisys Corporation, a worldwide information technology company, to jointly provide access control solutions to federal, state, and local governments; education institutions, as well as commercial markets. These solutions include multifactor authentication, leveraging personal identification verification (PIV) and common access cards (CAC), and other methods, in combination with federated single sign-on (SSO).

Steve Kousen, VP, North American Center of Excellence at Unisys said: "With the joint solutions from Unisys and SecureAuth, organizations can take control of their security and risk objectives within budget while enabling single sign-on access from any number of apps through any device. Working together, our solutions can provide organizations with strong authentication to ensure that only authorized users get access to company resources."

The companies recently completed several successful deployments with government agencies and commercial entities; and Unisys deployed SecureAuth IdP internally to enable multifactor authentication and SSO to mobile applications.
