Satyam wins ICWAI award

Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has been awarded the ICWAI national award for excellence in cost management for 2005 under the services category.

Satyam is the only IT company to have received this award. Instituted in the year 2003, by the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, the awards are presented annually to corporate organizations in their journey towards excellence in cost, quality and delivery.

Commenting on the award, Srinivas Vadlamani, CFO of Satyam said, “our endeavor has been to constantly improve productivity as well as search for innovative ways to trim overheads to sustain margins. While there has been significant improvement in these factors, we have continued to invest in harnessing growth.”
