Satyam Q3 net up 19.6%

NEW DELHI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has posted a 19.6 percent increase in net profit to Rs 174.78 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 145.86 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

Total income has increased by 29.3 percent to Rs 893.84 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 from Rs 691.14 crore in the corresponding period last year.






The group has posted a profit after tax and share of loss in associate company of Rs 164.87 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 133.48 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

Total income has increased to Rs 909.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 from Rs 696.21 crore in the corresponding period last year.
