Satyam is Plumtree SI for India

NEW DELHI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced that it has been chosen by Plumtree Software as a premier systems integrator in India for deployment of the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite.

Plumtree provides software to create a volume and variety of Web applications and workspaces, and manage them in one portal environment. According to the press release, after several years of success in the Asia-Pacific region, Plumtree also announced its formal entry into the Indian marketplace on July 20, 2004.

Satyam has over the past year successfully implemented the Plumtree Enterprise Web Suite in government entities both in Singapore and Australia. As part of his mission to strengthen Satyam's India operations, Satyam's Head for India and South Asia Vilas Kanyal wants to replicate these successes in India as well. "Considering the growing adoption trends in the portal space in India, Satyam has responded with an increased focus on the enterprise web and portal solutions space for this year. We see our relationship with Plumtree in India as a cornerstone of this focus ".
