MUMBAI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd. has formed a strategic alliance with
Microsoft Corporation to provide Web and enterprise integration application
deployment solutions to US public sector customers.
Satyam said the agreement is initially with Microsoft Federal Consulting
Services to provide solutions using Windows DNA 2000 technology. Windows DNA
2000 is Microsoft's platform for rapidly building and deployment of
next-generation e-commerce, line-of-business and Web solutions that integrate
with customers, partners and existing applications.
Satyam Computer shares ended higher at Rs 331.95 on the Bombay exchange on
Wednesday. Microsoft shares were trading at $68/13, down 0/13 over the previous
close in early deals on the Nasdaq on Wednesday.
