Satyam launches SAP training academy

 HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services Ltd today announced the launch of an SAP training academy as part of an agreement with SAP India.

The academy will train Satyam professionals in current and future SAP solutions to develop a pool of more than 1500 consultants certified on SAP solutions over the next two years.

SAP India will provide specially designed training modules for basic and advanced education in SAP solutions. Trainers from around the globe will lead the sessions at the Satyam learning centers, created specifically for these kinds of programs. Satyam professionals—both experts in SAP solutions and other domains—with strong technical capabilities and experience in various industries will qualify for this program, a Satyam statement said.

Manish Mehta, director and senior vice president at Satyam, said, “We look forward to creating a pool of SAP specialists by providing our associates a world-class platform to develop the requisite skills and knowledge on SAP products.”

“With its customized training modules, this initiative will enable Satyam to offer customers innovative solutions. It will also allow the organization to feature consistent availability of cutting-edge, SAP solution-based skill sets,” he added.
