Satyam inks deal with Actuate

MUMBAI: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced that it has signed a regional partnership with Actuate Corporation, provider of enterprise reporting applications, under the Actuate Asia Pacific Partner Program. Satyam and Actuate will collaborate in Asia Pacific including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

According to the press release, the Satyam-Actuate Center of Excellence will be established at Satyam's Global Solutions Center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The center currently has 24x7 access to Satyam's global knowledge repository, which can be leveraged to deliver cutting edge solutions to customers across the globe.

Together, Satyam and Actuate will help organizations in the region to enhance their Business Intelligence initiatives through the deployment of Actuate's solutions. In addition, Satyam has trained and certified 20 consultants to provide Actuate pre-sales support and services delivery to customers across the region, with plans to increase this number.

The release further states that Satyam brings to the partnership strong global consulting experience and domain competencies from having worked with over 300 global customers in various verticals such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Telecommunications.
