Satyam Infoway launches Web EDI

MUMBAI, September 2 : Satyam Infoway has launched Web EDI products and

solutions in India. This is apart from its existing VAN based EDI and

supply chain management solution which it brings to the Indian corporate

customers in association with Sterling Commerce Inc.

Satyam is introducing Web EDI solution based on Sterling's product

Gentran: Server Web Suite. Its architecture enables easy integration with

the customers' existing systems including ERP implementations. The trading

partners do not have to invest in any EDI or other software. The browser

becomes the first universal interface. The other benefits are like simple

form-based transactions, ready for VAN EDI, easy addition of more trading

partners with no extra investments, etc.
