Satyam implements Peoplesoft Campus Soln for MAHE

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced that it has implemented India's first Peoplesoft Solutions for a University - Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). MAHE is part of Manipal Education and Medical Group covering 2 universities, 35 institutions, 11 hospitals and a student base of around 70,000.

The PeopleSoft solution will facilitate areas like Student Finance, HRMS, Payroll, Financial, Procurement and Inventory and Portal through end-to-end implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.

MAHE needed commonality of Critical Processes across various educational institutions and hospitals within the University, which has been standardized now through the Peoplesoft implementation. Manual handling of various database led to inconsistencies, which is now being supported through an automated single database, leading to data consistency and reduced overheads. With this application students and senior management can now track information and communicate seamlessly.

The Peoplesoft Solution will thus address the needs across various Institutions and Colleges of MAHE ranging from students, teachers, administrative staff, faculty and senior management.
