Satyam to double its certified consultants

BANGALORE: Satyam Computer Services Ltd., a leading global and information technology services company, announced the launch of a SAP training academy as part of an agreement with SAP India. The academy will train Satyam professionals in current and future SAP solutions to develop a large pool of consultants certified on SAP solutions (additional 1,500 plus) over the next two years.

SAP India will provide specially designed training modules for basic and advanced education in SAP solutions. Leading trainers from around the globe will lead the sessions at the Satyam learning centers, created specifically for these kinds of programs. Satyam professionals --both experts in SAP solutions and other domains--with strong technical capabilities and experience in various industries will qualify for this program.

“We look forward to creating a pool of SAP specialists by providing our associates a world-class platform to develop the requisite skills and knowledge on SAP products,” said Manish Mehta, director and senior vice president at Satyam. “With its customized training modules, this initiative will enable Satyam to offer customers innovative solutions. It will also allow the organization to feature consistent availability of cutting-edge, SAP solution-based skill sets” he added.

Satyam, market leader in SAP, with over 3,000 Associates in this practice and a large customer base. This large-scale training initiative reinforces Satyam’s strategy to bolster its expertise in SAP solutions and aligns with the growing demand for cutting-edge SAP professionals in the global marketplace.
