Satyam opens new delivery centre in Netherlands

RIJSWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS: IT services provider Mahindra Satyam has announced the inauguration of its nearshore delivery center in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Satyam chairman Vineet Nayyar officially inaugurated the center, on August 18, 2011, the company said in a press release. With this new centre, Satyam envisages a robust growth trajectory in the Benelux region, it added. The inauguration ceremony was also graced by Mayor of Eindhoven, Mr Rob van Gijzel.

After inaugurating the new centre, Vineet Nayyar said, “Mahindra Satyam has always been respected for its customer-centricity and that means offering services deploying various models - offshore, near-shore and onsite. Proximity to customers is an aspect that underscores our commitment to superior service standards and shortened decision making cycles. We are indeed quite proud to reinstate our commitment to our businesses in the all important Benelux market".

The company has received wide response to its new initiatives and looks to gain a stronger foothold in Business Intelligence, Integrated Managed Services and Mobility Solutions, said the press release.

Mahindra Satyam said it already has development and delivery centers in Western Europe, with near-shore delivery centers in England (Basingstoke and Milton Keynes), Northern Ireland (Belfast), and Germany (Wiesbaden and Hamburg). With this new delivery centre in Eindhoven, the company is perfectly poised to cater to the end-to-end needs of the Benelux market.

This week Mahindra Satyam had got Rs 2114 crore income tax notice from the Income-Tax department.
