Satyam, CIPET sign MoU

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Satyam Computer Services Ltd. today said it has signed an MoU with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Hyderabad, for developing new engineering plastic materials through an Industry-Institute collaborative approach.

The partnership would aim at synergizing the product design and development expertise of Satyam Engineering Solutions and application research of CIPET to develop innovative materials for new products being developed for customers worldwide.

“This is one of the initiatives taken up by CIPET Hyderabad in the field of applied research to work closely with the demands of the industry,” said Poomalai, head and deputy director, CIPET, Hyderabad.

“This partnership would help Satyam Engineering Solutions to be a leading product design service provider with an innovation ecosystem of alliance partners,” said Dr. T.S.K Murthy, global head, Integrated Engineering Solutions, Satyam.

CIPET is an autonomous Plastics Training & Application Research Institute, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
