In addition, the two companies have participated in more than 350 global customer engagements spanning multiple vertical markets - demonstrating the rising business priority in-database analytics are becoming for cutting-edge companies.
The Business Insight Advantage program is an end-to-end offering that uniquely combines the Teradata database platform with the SAS Business Analytics Framework.
As a press release claims, Business Insight Advantage dramatically accelerates the deployment and execution of business analytics by leveraging specific Teradata features with the SAS framework, which includes data integration; model development and deployment; forecasting and reporting. Customers can now effectively scale and operationalize in-database analytics across the enterprise, bringing fact-based analytical insight to front-line decision makers.
With new Advantage programs and in-database integration capabilities, SAS and Teradata have grown their joint customer base significantly since the partnership was established. From one of its newest joint customers, Commercial International Bank (CIB) in the Middle East, to a leading Spanish telecommunications company and well-known financial institutions and retailers worldwide, SAS and Teradata are delivering valuable new offerings to industries all over the world. The forthcoming SAS Credit Risk Advantage for Teradata represents a key vertical offer within the Advantage Program. Targeted at the financial services industry, this offer consists of SAS software integrated with the Teradata platform and jointly delivered services for regulatory credit risk capital measurement and management.
