SAS expands its horizons in India

BANGALORE: SAS India, operational for the past five years, will be focusing on tapping the business potential for its solutions across verticals, primarily the fast growing financial services and telecom sector. To spearhead the growth of the company’s market and drive sales of SAS Business Intelligence software solutions across India, SAS India has appointed Arjun Erry as Director, Sales, India.



From a SAS International perspective, the APAC market is growing, with contribution to worldwide revenues slated to grow from the current 10 to 20 percent by 2006. Within the region, India along with South Asia has been identified as a leading market contributing to the growth of APAC revenues.



In his role as the Director Sales, India, Erry will head a team of vertical-specific account managers located across company offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore. His mandate includes growing SAS market share, achieving financial goals, and maximizing relationships with strategic partners across India.
