SAP, NIIT to offer financial IT solutins to AP govt

BANGALORE, INDIA: To bring in more efficiency, transparency and accountability of the state's financial transactions and operations, the Finance Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh will deploy a comprehensive suite of IT solutions.

To benefit the citizens through an efficient financial management system, the Finance Department of the State is working with SAP and NIIT Technologies, for an appropriate solution for the system, said a press release.

SAP IT solutions like SAP ERP, Public Budget Formulation, Business Intelligence and Data Services, Treasury Management and SAP GRC Suite, will be implemented by the Finance Department of the state.

Besides that, SAP Human Resources Management (HRMS) will also be implemented. SAP HRMS will help in improving employee processes, capacity development, efficient people management.

Dr. P.V.Ramesh, Principal Secretary, Finance Department (R&E) Government of Andhra Pradesh said, "Agility in governance is the need of the hour, and with the adoption of this technology, we have taken a big leap in taking e-governance to the next level in the country."
