SAP deploys Business One solution at SLCM

BANGALORE, INDIA: SAP AG on Tuesday said it has implemented its Business One Warehouse Management Solution at Sohan Lal Commodity Management Pvt. Ltd (SLCM), a post harvest agri-logistics company in India.

The company claimed in a press release that with the implementation of the SAP solution, SLCM has improved its warehouse operations across 70 rural locations.

Aimed at improving customer satisfaction with faster responses, the warehouse management tools developed by Altura Consulting on the SAP Business One application was chosen to meet the industry-specific needs including data management, perform instant availability checks and record stock movements via the Enterprise Mobility Solution.

The system from inception of the idea to go-live was implemented in 6 months flat, thus enabling SLCM to realize a quicker ROI. The implementation has brought about seamless integration amongst its multi-location operations and thus ensured low wastage of stored agricultural commodities.
