SAP appoints Bhuvaneswar Naik as HR head

BANGALORE, INDIA: SAP AG today announced appointment of Bhuvaneswar Naik as the vice president, human resources for India.

In this role, Bhuvan will have strategic and operational responsibility of the people function, said a press release.

He will foster higher customer satisfaction through driving people strategy and process alignment across all SAP entities in India.

Bhuvan has worked with SAP in the past as head of human resources for SAP Labs India from inception till early 2003. Subsequently, he assumed the role of executive assistant to the Extended Board at SAP AG from 2003 to 2004 and was the VP Global HR Shared Services in 2005.

Bhuvan brings over 17 years of human resources experience of which 15 years have been in leadership roles in global organizations like SAP, Capgemini, Yahoo! and Taj Group of Hotels, the release added.

His most recent role was the vice president - people processes, India and Asia Pacific, Financial Services GBU Capgemini. Prior to this, he was director of human resources at Yahoo! India.

He holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Calicut and Master of Arts in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
