Sanrise moves its R&D facility in Bangalore

NEW DELHI: Sanrise, a privately held global provider of advanced managed data

storage services, has announced that S.A.N.Ware Storage Solutions, an

India-based research and development subsidiary of Sanrise Group, Inc., has set

up its R&D operations to a new multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art

facility in Bangalore.

Working in tandem with Sanrise's subsidiary R&D lab in Santa Clara,

California, the new Bangalore solutions center will focus on bringing innovation

in storage area networks (SAN) solutions and services based on new technologies.

Functioning as an integral part of Sanrise's global operations and support,

the facility's interoperability and testing results, software and SAN

architecture designs will be incorporated into the company's storagetoneSM

portfolio of managed data storage solutions. The Bangalore lab is manned by an

experienced storage and networking engineers, many of who are co-authors of

several international patents.

"Our Bangalore S.A.N.Ware Storage Solutions facility, is the world's

first R&D group dedicated exclusively to the managed storage service

provider industry," said S.A.N.Ware managing director Srinivas Pothapragada.

"In cooperation with our US partners, we are developing innovative

solutions to meet worldwide enterprise needs for outsourced data storage

services," he added.
