Sandip Naik is new channel head at AMD

BANGALORE, INDIA: AMD has announced that Sandip Naik has been promoted as the head of channel sales for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Naik will be responsible for driving channel sales and outreach for the company.

He will work closely with channel partners in these regions and will also be responsible for strategic affiliations with ecosystem partners. Naik has been associated with AMD for over three years.

He comes with a deep understanding of the channel business and enjoys strong relationships with the channel community across the country.

Alok Ohrie, MD, AMD India said: “We are pleased to entrust Naik with the responsibility of driving AMD’s channel initiatives in India and neighboring countries. Naik has proven himself in different roles within AMD and with his sincerity and passion. We are confident that he will excel in his new role. Naik’s appointment comes in light of Haresh Bharia’s exit from AMD as director, distribution and sales.

Bharia has been instrumental in setting up the channel network for AMD and leading the team to establish a wide coverage model for AMD products in that space.
