Sanat Technologies to tap mid-market

CHENNAI, INDIA: Storage product solution developer Sanat Technologies claimed that it has completed around 40 installations in six months of its launch in India.

V Ramani, country manager - marketing and sales, Sanat Technologies said, "All the major vendors are using Windows Storage Server, whereas Sanat has used a segment called firmware and has developed solution in Linux-based system, which could be run or accessed through any operating systems."

The company announced its launch of new range of data storage models in Chennai in partnership with Intel, with an intelligent StorOS firmware with a capacity of 40TB.

Sanat has installed projects in Pune, Bangalore and Jaipur, and would set-up its offices in Delhi and Mumbai by the next year. Its has roped six partners across the country. "We are installing our projects through our partners. We are fixing various system integrators and solution providers who would cater to all divisions of the market," remarked Ramani.

Sanat Technologies has proposed to handhold the partners while installing the project initially and entrust the total project to them after the channel gains some amount of confidence and more in-depth knowledge. "We have proposed to tap the mid-market and small and medium business (SMB) as there is a huge demand for storage in those areas, which would be cost-effective for them," added Ramani.
